What a Fun Sunshine Social Ladies Lunch with Table Talk Dice!
Sara, Marcy, Tiffenie, Myhriah, Christina
What a joyful reminder of why community matters so much. Our Sunshine Social Ladies Lunch was filled with laughter, friendship, and those easy, meaningful conversations that happen when you’re surrounded by women who truly get you. I love hanging out with my besties, and this lunch was exactly that kind of energy.
A huge thank you to Marcy Hill of Apex Restoration for being such a fantastic co-host with me. Marcy brings warmth, wisdom, and heart to every gathering, and her presence made the day even more special.
Table Talk Dice - Getting to Know You
We kicked things off with the best getting-to-know-you activity led by Tiffenie Lavery of Be Seen Promotions. Her Table Talk Dice – Getting to Know You sparked thoughtful, fun conversations and helped us connect on a deeper level right from the start. It was such a simple and brilliant way to bring everyone together.
Myhriah Young from Dogtopia of Daybreak and Dogtopia Holladay brought so much fun and honesty to the table. She shared how she’s intentionally designing her weeks to protect her weekends with her husband—handling cleaning during the week, using Instacart for shopping, and even outsourcing a poop scoop service. It was such a real and refreshing reminder that building a life you love sometimes means getting creative and being able to delegate by relying on trusted services.
Marcy shared one of my favorite family traditions—weekly family movie night with no phones allowed. During the week, Marcy quotes half of a movie line, and the kids finish it. I absolutely love this idea. Simple, intentional, and full of connection.
We were also honored to have guest Christina St. Louis, who shared an incredibly inspiring story. Christina now does powerlifting, which is an extraordinary achievement after being bedridden for seven years due to back problems, followed by another two years of struggle. Her resilience, strength, and determination were a powerful reminder of what the human spirit is capable of.
Tiffenie also shared insights about having a clear business plan and systems in place for success—and, of course, recommended some great TV shows along the way. Because balance matters, too.
This lunch was full of real life, real stories, and real connection. These are the moments that make Sunshine Community so special—women supporting women, learning from one another, laughing together, and building friendships that extend far beyond the table.
Grateful for this beautiful group and already looking forward to the next Sunshine Social Ladies Lunch. 💛
