Designing Your Inner CEO: Reflections from Our Sunshine LadyBoss Lunch
We were honored to hear from Aabri Kimball, who guided us through a powerful reflection on our Inner CEO—the part of us that leads with intention, vision, and courage. Aabri invited us to think deeply about why we are here, what we truly want to build, and how we can intentionally design our lives and leadership around that vision.

Women Building Strong Community
Aabri reminded us that we can design any life we want. We just have to be brave enough to articulate what that life looks like and intentionally choose which parts of ourselves we use to pursue it. That message stayed with me. Leadership is not accidental—it is designed.
Women shared insights, encouraged one another, and built real relationships around the table. This is the heart of Sunshine Community—women empowering women, growing together, and designing lives and businesses with intention.
During the conversation, I shared that my purpose is rooted in mentoring women, bringing community together, and lifting up women leaders in our community. Looking ahead to 2026, my vision of success is building Sunshine Community, employing more women, and creating sustainable systems that allow the organization—and the women within it—to thrive. This matters deeply to me because financially healthy women create thriving families, and thriving families create strong communities.
To achieve this, I am committed to leading visibly, sharing our message publicly, connecting with like-minded women, and being in more rooms where strong women leaders are growing and collaborating. I also reflected on what I need to release in order to grow—taking on last-minute tasks that are not priorities and trying to do everything myself instead of mentoring others to lead.
A Community of LadyBosses
What made this lunch especially meaningful was the community of Lady Bosses that attended. There are moments when a conversation creates clarity, and clarity creates momentum. Our recent Sunshine LadyBoss Lunch at The Lake Break was one of those moments for me and so many women in the room.
I left the lunch inspired, grounded, and excited for what we are building together. Here’s to stepping into our Inner CEO and creating the future we envision—together. I intend to check in with each Lady Boss through the year and share all we have accomplished in December 2026.
